  A Mother's Plea

As a part of the unfolding miracle of The Divine Mercy at St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish, the Blessed Virgin Mary has requested that a sanctuary be built on the grounds between the church and the school. The imposing presence of a sanctuary in the shadow of the Chicago skyline along the Kennedy Expressway will silently beckon people in journey to come to this holy ground to rest, reflect, and re-discover who they are in relationship to God. Our Lady echoes the words of the prophet Hosea as she calls us into the sacred silence of this "Sanctuary in the City". She asks that we come as in the days of our youth when innocence made our hearts receptive to the breath of God's spirit. We invite you to join us in this mission as we respond in fidelity to Our Lady's call. Whether you believe, are skeptical, indifferent, or understandably cautious but nonetheless hopeful, read on to learn more about this walk in faith to build the Sanctuary of The Divine Mercy.
